What is next for King Sean O'Malley?

Contract negotiations are next for the Sugar Show. If negotiations go well, then he needs a big name in the top 20. Maybe Dodson... then fooking Uriah. Then (depending on how thingz shake out....) Cruz then Aldo or someone else who's getting a lot of Buzz. Just keep feeding him the biggest names available as they slowly work him into the top 10. I wouldn't want to see him move up to & through the top 10 too quickly, but he could be 3 or 4 fights away from title buzz.

Right now the upper bracket of the division looks like:

Aldo & Yan for the title
Winner of Al Jo vs Marlon gets the winner.
Munhos vs Edgar (Already scheduled for UFC 251)
Garbrandt vs. Rivera or Rivera vs. Cruz


After that we'll see what the division looks like.

Spoiler: Time for O'Malley to renegotiate dat contract

O'Malley's very aware of the damage that awaits him once he stats crawling out of the kiddie pool... & says he needs to get paid if he's going to keep the sugar show rolling into the deep end.

He spoke of recognizing CTE & says he wants his pay to represent the risk... but he's not just making empty demands... he's a very active social media player & has gotten half lucky with his fame just because he is who he is & he vibes with a lot of people, but the other half of that is his skills as a fighter, as well as the work he puts in on social media.

All 3 coming together equal gold if he keeps winning.

So negotiations are his next fight.
