So, especially with no ufc on the weekend I am pretty excited and looking forward to this fight, but a little worried as a fedor fan because I don't like mur.

Whats the smartest gameplan Mir can come up with?? I would think its trying to time a good takedown and get on top of him. Even today fedor should have better striking and look better on the feet. I would think unless he constantly wobbles him like maldanado did that fedor should take the decision if its goes there as well, but I am pretty sure this isn't going the decision

Mir will do his job and get knocked out quickly against the goat

To set a fast pace that Fedor can't keep up with

Try not to gas out in the first, avoid the big looping punches and then when he knocks Fedor down break him. that’s just my guess lol.

Bombs on the feet.
Put Fedor on skates.
I hope to high hell Mir tries to grapple with him, but I think it is pretty easy to see him going for the KO.

Fedor's biggest weakness is fighting with his back against the cage. I imagine it would be to back him into the cage, use his size, break him down a bit, get the takedown and submit. Mir has the ability to win anywhere. Even with Fedor on top where he is his deadliest, Mir can submit off his back or reach for a leglock

I think Mir get's the win via decision if he doesn't come in too fat and can keep a good pace

Edit: Mir Looking way better than Fedor. Dude lost some serious pounds. Goodbye USADA

I believe Mir will KO Fedor out easily. Fedor ain't the same dude. Meathead barely tapped Fedor and dropped him.

Hope he gets brutally dropped and then TKO on the ground via ground and pound.

Mir is not fast, not explosive, has ruined knees and injury prone back, so he will likely clinch use his size and strength over fedor to rough him up then try trip, throw or clinch takedown fedor and beat fedor on ground using strenght and size. Not sure he can finish fedor unless he catch fedor standing. I feel fedor is hard to submit unless you catch him surprise like werdum.

Wrong forum bud, but Mir looks to be back on some juice. So as a fedor fan myself I don’t have a good feeling about this fight.

I don't see what the current Fedor has for Mir. He is going to get crushed.

Mir can win anywhere the fight goes. He can stand and knock Fedor out or submit him.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mir knees Fedor in the head, and that's fucking sad because I love Fedor.

Turtle up so he goes out like a man without tapping.

Mir is only -140, I don't see how anyone can be so confident in mir without putting money on him? I did cause I think hes got a good chance yet if fedor wins im happy losing the money

Yeah, rooting for Fedor, expect Mir to win. Mir has been losing to the best fighters in the world while Fedor got knocked out by Mitrione and almost put away by Maldonado.

Jobs for sure, leg kicks?, stick and move until he can clinch then drag it to the groung.

Fedor's 41 and should have stayed retired a long time ago. Mir is the favorite in this fight. Fedor could still win if he lands a shot but all he seems able to do anymore is wing right hands. Fedor, the guy everyone used to say was the most well-rounded HW in the game has become nothing but a wild head-hunter and has been for years.
