I know chuck liddell and mayhem use to do it and just noticed Arlvoski did it for the big foot fight as well. I never got why grown men decide to paint their toe nails. Is it too many shots to the head?

Lol, I just watched NBD 2 on Netflix. DON'T DO THAT. Believe it or not, worse than you will even anticipate.

It protects the nails you noobs. The real question is why they choose such noticeable colors.

I am not sure it is as cut and dry as that. Thats why all the Goats do that....right?

It's an old tradition that goes back to days of Roman gladiators. They used to wipe blood of other gladiators and animals on their feet/toes to signify that they won. It turned into a ritual of painting toenails with blood.

Yes it is as cut and dry as that. There's no secret tranny cult in MMA. It protects your toenails. There are several hundred threads about it.

Why do so FEW fighters do it then if it is that beneficial?

I have got around to watching it. Not as horrible as the first one, but still pretty bad

I think the black trainer dude from Never Back Down was ok, and that tasty blonde girl, but yeah the movie is a joke. Warrior is a good movie though.

John Hackleman (Chuck's trainer) discovered the power of toenail armor in the early days and only a few fighters have really learned the techniques involved.

Once you start painting it's very difficult to go back, similar to TRT.

Some guys don't use noticeable colors but Hackleman's stable was known for being raunchy gays so they usually pick very extreme shades.

I hear you need to cycle off, but it's a losing battle

I'm guessing it's because they felt like it.
