A few years ago, Nick was the man and Nate was his talented younger brother that was sort of under Nick's shadow. But now in 2016? Nate is the man. Why? IMO it's because whether we agree with him or not, we get that he's being real (insert john jones joke here) with us.

He is a fighter through and through and always brings it and something in us respects that no b.s. approach. What's more, we never feel that Nate censors himself or even gives a shit what anyone else thinks. He calls it as he sees it, gives no fucks about trying to impress anyone, and that has gained him a huge following over this past summer...

He beat the cash cow thats why. He would have been forgotten by the world at this point if he lost.

Nick hasn't fought in a while he is by far the bigger draw and more interesting fighter to fans overall

The only times I'll ever cheer for Nate (or Nick, actually) are when he fights Conor.

I imagine many are in the same boat.

because he beat Conor. That's all. He fades back to nothing when that saga is over.

Nick fights like once every 2 years.. so because he actually fights.

Both are great.
Nick just need a couple of wins to bring back the emotion
Nate is like Nick but more "user friendly"

WAR DIAZ FAMILY!

His interview with Rogan was possibly the best part of 200..

Because Conor McGregor changed his bum life.

If Nate weren't a 'needle-mover', why did Conor hand-pick him? The style match-up, sure. But it was also the biggest $$$ non-championship fight across three (haha ok two) divisions.

Haters gonna hate.

He's admired in his community for going on bike rides with the elderly and making animal balloons for children.

I agree, Nate's real so I respect that. If I was a UFC fighter though, at his or his brother's weight I am guessing I would really dislike them because I have never been a thug mentality fighter. But, my best friend was exactly like Nick so perhaps they would respect me more so. Nick and Nate create these things to hate their opponent. But they are actually cool people just different since they grew up the way they did.

For whatever reason, I always went for Nick in fights. I just felt a sense of loyalty to him. I think in person, Nick and I would be good friends because Nick is real Like Nate.

1. The Diaz bros. have been amazing for this sport.

2. These are 2 regular guys in many respects who still come to fight w/ a spirit that makes Enson and JBG happy.

5. I'm not surprised, motherfuckers.

I find it very unusual that I never know what in the hell he's talking about yet I like what he's saying.
