What is going on?

Seriously .... Two finishes while card? Thank you Jacoby

Yeh, it was Jacoby with a KO, and then two fights ended in sub. Neither of those fights had any action. Both ended in the first round. The winners just went for TDs right away and grappled until their was a sub. I don't think any punches were thrown in either of those fights lol.

So many fights were just lots of lay and pray or the same striking over and over without really doing any major damage lol.

Was awful.

No, I expected Sherbums to be pieces of shit and show zero compassion for a sick human.
Dude, we are here watching people step into the cage and maul each other while we’re cheering them on, but we should suddenly be worried by some medical issue caused by a weight cut? Toughen up, she will be fine.
Seriously, I am sometimes surprised how people like the most violent of sports and then act worried about the health of the competitors. They are literally gambling away their health and longevity for success/fame/money as a life choice.

I did that while my making dinner for the kiddos, I left the broadcast on in the background. I paid more attention when they were trying to figure out what was going on with the finale than the entire card.
Have you considered having your kids battle for like a Popsicle or something? it would probably be just as exciting as most of the fights that are on lately

This will all blow over and Barber will move up a weight class to hopefully avoid whatever happened this time.

God...that fight week for her was a total mess....she needs to regroup her thoughts and focus on her mental state....god bless.

She has some mental issues in my view.
She won't accept even 1% any responsibility for her failure to make it into the cage and RUIN the MAIN event. She'll want sympathy and attention for this FFS.
It is ultimately her fault, she signed a contract to apoearvand she failed to make weight and (much worse) failed to step into the Octagon.

I guarantee you Dana White is *hugely* unimpressed. They're somewhat fortunate it was a UFC Apex event rather than a bigger audience paying money in a stadium. To lose any main event literally 5mins before it starts is a catastrophic end to the night. I don't ever recall this happening before.

Barber's career is shot due to this.
If I was the UFC I'd cut her as a message to all their fighters never ever to do this, whatever the reason.

Oh and "seizure" my ass. That's a Fast lie, a cover up, but UFC will commit to their lie and maybe even get one of their employee medical staff to state that's the case.

Well, there are several assumptions and predictions in your post, that we can refer back to later, and maybe you are correct? Time will tell !

Well Dana WILL be hugely unimpressed that's a dead cert. He probably will just say "medical issue" , toe the company line.

We're unlikeky to find out what the real story is, we'll just get the UFC version.

The sympathy and attention thing......highly likely. UNLESS someone in her team/family/group advises her to shut up and make no comment publicly which is possible.

You think UFC are gonna give her another main event anytime soon???? Nope.

You sound like youre defending her. Unfortunate stance at this juncture.

Also....

Read this to discover a bit about her mindset :

They said she wasn't medically cleared, so I'm going to assume a physician evaluated her. If thats the case, then it's a lot different than just not wanting to fight.

Sorry if I sounded as though I was defending her lol, and doubt that everyone else took it that way. I was rooting for Blanchfield myself. I have no doubt that Barber has mental issues, even without relying on a random sherbros personal experience or perspective. I personally think most fighters in the UFC, and most homosapiens on earth, have mental issues, but I digress. I prefer to see what really happens next in the real world, rather than speculate on what other people or organizations are going to say or do. I am sure Mr. White is very upset by what happened, and did not happen last night. I am also sure that Mr. White knows that it is not ALL Barbers fault. Until we know for sure, I will entertain the official report that it was a medical issue. Like everyone says, Barber has mental and weight issues, so no reason to pretend the UFC did not know that, and therefore it was only Barber's fault that the UFC took the chance scheduling the event last night with all the known issues.

They also said she was literally standing on her mark waiting for the signal to start her walkout when she just turned around and went back to the locker room. Then maybe 3 minutes later they talked to Blanchfeild who said Hunter Campbell told her it was a seizure. I'm waiting for some sort of conformation on that because to me it sounds more like anxiety/panic attack.

But as far as I know, Hunter Campbell is the only source for the seizure rumors and I don't trust him.
