For example What is a technique or fighting style or approach or strategy that hasn’t been attempted until yet? Like is there a subculture where they have a style that’s considered legit but also probably stupid and useleess?

Wouldn’t adrenaline reduce risk of tickle?
Adrenaline knocks out down and some people are immune to it altogether, but a lot of people are more cerebral while fighting, and if someone's stuck in a holding position, they're not usually cranked all the way to 11. Plus, it's not like you'd lose position or anything for trying.

Manson Gibson.

Probably only Emanuel Newton and Genki Sudo had showed a glimpse of the style in MMA at elite organizations.

I think Newton has been truly unique of the two, his style almost like made of entirely for a spinning shit.

Where’d the legendary karate chop go?

Never found its way to actual combat I see

It's far too dangerous, and is banned in the continental United States and Alaska.

Behold, what even a minor application of this deadly technique can do.

I think it's allowed, but you have to have your hands registered as lethal weapons and carry a permit.

Having your deadly hands registered with the Government of USA doesnt simply grant you the right to begin executing lethal maneuvers on people. One slip, and a life hangs in the balance.

Michel Pereira is the last guy to do something in the cage first, to my knowledge. Wasn't really effective, I think Zabit springing off the cage and Shara with the dbl tap backfist were a more refined version of MPs acrobatics

Or look at Maia developing that deep half guard to back take, he snatched so many chokes/wins off of that fight hack.

Jiri is trying to skirt death bell to buzzer. We get plenty of new takes on old approaches

Haven’t seen anyone dig their chin into someone’s eyeball in a clinch or on mount/top position. Mad painful if the one digging with the chin has a five o clock shadow.

When a fighter has back control on someone and is trying to fish for space to get that RNC, not one single fighter to my knowledge has ever tried tickling their opponent to get them to open up their guard.

I have seen tickling attempted in complete garbage tier regional mma.

It was not effective.

Anyway....

Within the last year or two we ... ALMOST got an answer to the age old mystery of if a fight can be won by "hitting him with your groin"

I would like to see anyone genuinely attempt to win via TKO groin smash to the face in North South position.

Thai cup... plus VIGOROUS thrusting ... and I believe it is possible.
