What if we all die?

In terms of benefit for the Earth and all other life on it, it would be a great benefit if there were no human beings on this planet.

In the words of George Carlin, maybe we evolved because the Earth wants plastic.
 
I just wouldn't be too hasty to dismiss this as "just the flu", because that could be a catastrophic error in judgement.
I meant to relate COVID-19 to the flu as far as both have (or will have) a new strand every year. They are clearly not the same virus. Now the world will have to deal with two type of viruses that can potentially kill millions of people every year.

We all are gonna die eventually, most of us in very horrible/painful ways.
 
Has the thread starter solved their existential crisis yet or are they still under their covers?
 
If we all die there can finally be peace on earth. The only way for that to happen is to eliminate humans. Yes there will still be animals killing animals but the noise will be eliminated. How many species kill without the intent to eat? How many species can outbread their resources and just create more?
