Imagine if Dana goes full retard and tries to hype JBJ v OSP as if it means more than just a stand in fight.

"OSP has been on Jon's radar for some time now - apparently he was talking smack at a press conference also drives a car, the fuckin' goof. Straight up disrespectful for a top 10 guy to even own a car considering John's history. Gonna be a hell of a fight"

What's there to "hype"? It is Jon jones vs a top 5 205er. You shouldn't need the ufc to tell you to be excited.
 
Dana was pretty reasonable with his comments on ESPN. He knows not to talk to the fans like they are idiots.
 
I have complaints about the UFC brass as much as anyone but this is a dumb complaint. What are they supposed to do?

The #1 fighter pound for pound Vs a top 5-10 lhw anyway.

Should give Jones a good first round. Fine with me.
Rumble or Hunt would have been my choice, but I understand them protecting the money Rematch.
 
They're going to hype up the brass balls of Jones taking on anyone and the brass balls of OSP for taking a short notice fight when no one else would. They're also going to hype up OSP's athletic background to demonstrate that he could be a wildcard.

So, the UFC is gonna UFC.
 
Heck I want all the aforementioned fights but if nobody is stepping up and this was the best option whose to blame? The fighters I guess or maybe some Dana conspiracy in hopes Jones goes unscathed then comes back for major UFC 200 bought. Yeah screw the brass that's what they are doing :)
 
OSP is a B-level fighter. Jones will crush him in the first round. It's like me vs Jeremy Lin for example.

I read this in his voice. At this point this goof doesn't really care about any fight at all.
 
its laughable if they try and hype OSP. everyone has seen the Bader and Glover fights that he had.. not that long ago!. he is average at best, his takedown defense is pathetic and he gasses. this is a squash match

Maybe I haven't watched enough Rocky films but I didn't know he was a clearly sub-par fighter, who was in the small leagues, who took title fights on one days notice.

He obviously didn't try to sell Soto all that hard, but still tried it. I get it's his job but all too often does a crap fighter have a video package of Rogan saying "Chris Cariaso is a serious challenger, he's an all round fighter!".

I'm an educated, long standing fan of your product guys, stop selling Okami might beat Anderson notions. I can smell bullshit a mile away.
