The UFC don't want to re-sign her because she refusing so many fights since her last match with Miesha Tate.
Rin wants more fights and training in the US (but has no money).
UFC wants Rin to fight at 115.
Rin has a cult following, which could make her marketable.
Her judo is solid and with better striking, Rin could put up some exciting fights.
What if the UFC offered more fights to Rin in exchange for:
A) a nutritionist (to help bring down her weight to 115),
B) training at an elite MMA gym (Tristar, AKA, ATT, Kings MMA, Jackson's MMA)
C) Only a limited number of chances for Rin to refuse fights
The training would be for her next 1 or 2 fights.
If she shows a big improvement, she stays. Otherwise, they cut her.
I don't know how much training she needs. Not sure if 3 or 6 months is enough.
She could model for fitness magazines and companies as a part-time job in the US.
Lei'D Tapa only trained 3 months for her fight with Gabi Garcia and displayed better striking than Rin Nakai.
Even a moderate improvement in her striking would have allowed her to get a decisive victory against Leslie Smith. Oddly Rin has lots of head movement, but no striking technique.
Do you think Rin and her managers would compromise in exchange for elite training?
