Sarah Kaufman was Ronda's first opponent that was a striker. If she had Holly Holm's gameplan, do you think Sarah would have been the first to beat Ronda?

Dana White said that after the Rousey/Kaufman fight, it convince him to bring the women's division into the UFC.

If Sarah Kaufman won the fight, do you think Dana would have change his mind and not bring the women's division into the UFC?

No comparing Kaufman striking to HH is apples and oranges, different level. HH is far superior.

Sarah only knows how to blood and guts brawl. That's like telling Jorge Gurgel to use Jiu Jitsu.

What do you think of Sarah's striking technique comparing to other female strikers?

The UFC wbw division isn't exactly loaded with quality strikers and they let Kaufman go, so there's your answer.

Kaufman doesn't have one shot ko power.

As soon as rousey ran into a girl who had the power to finish her with strikes, she lost.

Julia Budd was the first striker. She beat Carano in kickboxing and is 5'8 jacked.

It's fast strikers, not strikers period or tall strikers, that give Ronda trouble.

Her technique is around average for the division, unfortunately her footwork blows. Just watch how effortlessly Valentina clinched her, half the time Val just stood there and waited for Sarah to put herself into a clinch and get ragdolled.

Julia Budd was 2-1 when she fought Ronda. She was very inexperienced at the time. Not to mention, she fights more like a lay and pray wrestler than a kickboxer anyway.

Ronda was just as inexperienced and Budd looked like she was trying to strike... for how long it lasted.

My point was the Budd hadn't been training her take down defense all that long.

As for the fight itself, Budd just walked up to Ronda and started to throw the overhand right. No attempt to stay away from the clinch at all.
