ALL fighters will lose if they fight long enough. That is just how it is.

I guess there will be maybe a bit less hype than people might believe. Jones arguably lost in his last 3 fights. A KO would add to the hype though if Jones gets KO'd.

If Jones wins dominantly would make most hype i think.

No. Aside from cheating with countless eyepokes, his PED cheating was not on the same level as everyone else. They changed the rules and made up scientific claims to accommodate his cheating.

In no uncertain terms, a GOAT criteria should not change substantially from any one given fight.

But most sherdoggers are too emotional, and they fall victim to this constantly.

If he loses he's still LHW Goat and still top 3 on the meaningless-but-often-debated P4P list. Unless he isn't already because of the * and in that case he still isn't.

I just think GOATness should be measured from peak. It's a title to be earned not lost.

People will appreciate DC more - he was dominant force at both LHW and HW with only losses being to cheater and to father time (no disrespect to Stipe but DC was past prime when he fought for HW belt). I still can't believe that Cormier isn't in GOAT talks more..

I didn't , I just wanted to know how nuthuggers feel about this. PED aside, the biggest advantage for Jon was his massive size differential and every time he faced an opponent at LHW wo had similar stats , he got gifted a decision, so as a fan if he loses this one decisively , that must say something about him as a fighter.
