Say this experiment of having a "full belly" and fighting heavy at 170 allowed Mcgregor to put on a significant amount of lean muscle. What if with that much muscle he can no longer make the 145lb limit? He was already dieing to make 145 when he was smaller.

If he cannot make featherweight then he will have to fight at lightweight.

If you need anything else let me know.

Then he better vacate and be ready for a spotty w/l record at LW.

Conor is a dead average Lightweight. Period. It's in plain sight. The timing and purposeful game plan to cut as much weight as possible and then create hype talking mad shit and by bullying the little guys was immaculate - that is not to say he cleaned out the div cause he is far from that.

Now here comes the real test of fighting in his true div eventually.

Even he of fortuitous crystal gazing has no idea how he will do at 155. Hence, the getting in at 145, try to dominate, create hype, and then high tail out of here (as he implied) lest he be exposed as a mere mortal fighting guys his size.

Then he will be forced to fight guys closer to his size. Jon jones is another case of a guy fighting people much smaller than him. Both of these fighters need to be bigger than their opponents to sustain their larger than life persona. In reality, they are just benefiting from the science of weight cutting. All fighters cut weight, but some cut much more than others. If Jones or Mcrgregor had to fight in the weight class above the one they currently compete in, then they would lose their aura of invincibility. As we have already seen with "Mcgregoat"

Kavenaugh stated Conor couldn't make the weight any longer, and Dana let him keep the belt for this experiment @155.

I expect he'll keep the belt hostage and retire having never defended it. Dana's crush is that strong.

Especially. With no IV, that cut can't be much fun, but if it keeps Conor relevant, he WILL make the weight. Say what you want about the man, but he is as determined a man as you will ever find.

I couldn't agree more, just like he did in CWFC.

He'll make it dont worry. Until he improves that GG he has no business messing around in the LW Division, we all saw that. There are RDA, Khabib, Ferguson, Diaz, Pettis, Alvarez, Thompson etc etc fighters with slick BJJ/grappling, most of them super sick in the stand up department too which spells trouble for McG.

His stand up is good enough to hang with all theses guys but if he couldnt KO them there aint no plan B for him and thats just bad

I've been saying this as well. I don't know who between Conor and Kavanagh is the tactician but it's pretty obvious that the trash talk is paving the way to moves they are planning on making several fights down the road.

Jones cuts 20lbs. That's pretty average as far as weight cutting goes, especially for a LHW. Stop this myth that Jones cuts so much weight so he can fight smaller guys. It just simply isn't true. He just has a long lanky frame.
