What hill would you die on?

...is a great SciFi movie and didn't deserve to royally bomb at the boxoffice.

This thread scares me. The 2x I literally had chest pains were during a 900-meter bike climb near my place. Strong possibility I might collapse there one of these days.

I don't think that I have one. I don't like being browbeaten with beliefs, but I consider myself to be flexible enough to change my opinions and beliefs if the evidence is strong enough. It's just that I may take more persuading on some things than others, depending on how personal a belief is to me, how the opposing belief is presented. I'm also not going to give people the time of day if they are rude, threatening or obnoxious to me.

mount > back mount
In grappling, at higher weight classes it’s probably close, but for guys at lightweight and below there’s no debate for the advantages of back mount. Strength to weight ratio is higher, plus those guys are usually super flexible so they can also roll out the back door to escape. IMO that’s the reason why the Mendes brother’s leg drag/berimbolo system and other inverting back-take techniques became so popular.

Leg locks seem to be the current meta, but 10-15 years ago when the Rafa/Cobrinha rivalry was starting to heat up it was an exciting time for BJJ nerds in terms of innovation and the evolution of the game. The 50/50 stalling bullshit was pretty prevalent, but when those guys really went at it like at ADCC they put on some great matches.

I like how people try to keep arguing with me on this in this thread, despite me saying that it is in fact a hill i will die on.
