    Eddie Bravo isn't the first to use Rubber Guard effectively. Nino Schembri used it quite a bit and very succesfully before Bravo. He is often rated as one of the best black belts of all time.

    I've heard some people that this forum highly regards call it the rubbish guard. Does that answer your question.
