What happened with Paul Sass?

Hey guys, I've just realised I haven't heard Paul Sass get mentioned for a while, looked him up and found out he got cut and is now in Bellator?
Does anyone know why he got cut? He was 13-0 with 12 subs before he lost a couple, and 3-2 in the UFC with 3 finishes. I didn't see the Castillo fight, was it a shocker? I thought this guy was going to be a prospect.

Usually when people are asking about what happened to somebody their is no use in investigating because, they gone
 
was a weird cut for sure. i think since he didnt sub castilo the ufc didnt want another bjj artist that takes fights to the mat, but cant sub high lvl opponents making it a boring lay fest if he cant get the sub.


Even maia got criticism from the ufc so someone like sass maybe at teh time wasnt worth it
 
Matt Wiman was a legit guy, there's no shame in losing to someone like that. I thought the UFC were trying to push any potential UK guys, and they're cutting a guy that's 14-2 with 13 finishes? Just seemed really strange to me, I wondered if there was more to it
