What happened w Mir's MMA Math anti-Pride Spiel

It's funny he was just saying how Pride guys weren't that good then got KTFO by a Pride guy.

He also stated Fedor would lose in UFC because he lost to Bigfoot and Mir beat Bigfoot so also Fedor...yes he used MMA math...now Mir lost to Hunt and Fedor beat Hunt so what does that mean in Mir logic?

On a side-note: it seems like everytime Mir makes some bagging comments the fans hate, he loses.

I honestly think that Frank Mir is one of the smartest MMA Analysts out there and I am openly campaigning for him to replace Joe of Goldie on the major events.

That being said.. I think that smart dudes can't be objective in their own fights. That, or they need to seem confident to maintain fan interest. Either way I Mir was incorrect on this one... I still think he's a top three commentator, plus the dude is a guaranteed hall of famer!

You may be right.

He's a smart guy, great commentator, but on own career speaks too much in absolutes and simplifies things. It's always this guys this so I'll do this. And it usually doesn't work out for him when he's got some philosophy worked out.

He starts getting liked and then he goes and says things, like bagging on Pride.
He was quiet during the Duffee time and his popularity went up...everytime he starts winnning he starts theorizing and loses fans with his comments.

I mean I like the guy either way cuz he gives good, unpredictable fights but that's just what happens to his popularity.

I think you meant to say Mir is on Sean McCorkles level but you said Fedor is after defending him so it made no sense.
