Not a big fan of wmma but seeing the way she would dominate girls with her wrestling was pretty bad ass. Even the girls who were known for wrestling like Carla got ragdolled. There was a huge difference between wmma wrestlers, and Suarez and I thought she would have a belt by now. Sucks about her neck.

She was a surging prospect who looked like she would be fighting for a belt soon enough, but some time after this recent injury the UFC took her out of the rankings completely. They wouldn't have done that if they hadn't talked to her directly and thought she was likely to make a return.

I was wondering about her the other day and looked up her situation on the interweb. Recurring neck injury is really bad - disc/ c spine issues - to the point of hbeing debilitating. Feel really bad for her. Any criticism she is getting is completely unwarranted. She is also a cancer survivor, and the cancer kept her out of the olympics. We're talking about a tough chick here.
