What happened to Gregor Gellespie?

Guy felt the amount of brain damage the sport provides as a reward and called it quits.

Gregor is one of the smarter MMA fighters we've probably ever seen. Realized he wasn't at the level he wanted to be, saw the risk was too much, called it quits with a pretty decent record. Hope the fish are biting.
Crazy how you make up a narrative as if you are him, know him and aided in his dec.

Kevin Lee had a full camp at Tristar Gym and was very focused. It paid off and made the difference.

Should had taken one year off, and bounced back. But he didn't. It's a personal choice, there is nothing to say about it in particular.

It's a shame, his wrestling background made him an interesting fighter.
He fought in the UFC after the Lee fight..

Good pressure fighter, entertaining fights. Don't know why people are shitting over him. Oh wait... forgot we're talking about mma 'fans' here.

Weird thing is, he’s still in the testing pool and had a test this year.
He is still training. All this he's working at a power and water station is comical. They mistook a inside joke on his private social media and ran with it.

Yes but he could had continued. It looked like he just wanted to retire off a win.
Oh, you know him personally to know his facial expressions since you say "it looked like he.." ? He asked for fights, still trains daily and continues to remain in the testing pool..

Didn't seem that way in his post fight interview. Dude was fired up. Talking about how he can outwork and outgrind anyone etc (and he wasn't really wrong).

Talented grappler but while I think fighting was an important thing to him, it wasn't the obsession it needs to be in order to make a championship run. He was a top 10 type guy though even without maybe being as "all in" as he could have been. Tells you how good a grappler he was.
