i was just thinking how there arent many celebrity killers anymore. that is strange considering how much more media is out there. but now it is pretty much only terrorists who get much attention.

we had:

john wayne gacy, ted bundy, jeffrey dahmer, son of sam, zodiac killer, wayne williams, charles manson, etc.



now, not so much. we seem to remember the crime, but not the killers. that's a good thing of course. those animals shouldnt be remembered. i just am fascinated that in our perverse culture these days, we dont remember more.

I think the ability to solve crimes with DNA and what not has made it much tougher to get away with murders as long as maybe some murderers use to be able to. They solve the crimes faster so the POS cant continue to commit them and make a name for themselves. Would be serial killers get caught faster now. Plus the media is more focused on school shootings, mass shooters in general and terrorist. You still have some infamous people like the boston Bomber,Adam Lanza, the unabomber, exc.. Id rather the media not tell the names honestly..
It might also be the case that so many crappy things happen in the world today that not that many stand out.. Everyday I read the news I see 3-4 stories that are just like WTF.. People doing awful things to other people. But every so often a case stands out like casey anthony,
Jodi Arias, George Zimmerman, etc
