u know how they like to make their excuses for each opponent brock beats

u know, like:

couture being old
mir being mir
carwin gassed and ref shouldve stopped fight
herring being past his prime
etc
 
They will say "oh he's just a one trick pony, all he does is lay on his opponents"
 
What happens when Hunt wins?

"Oh its been 5 years"

"Brock should have fought an easier opponent in his comeback fight"
 
That is a 50/50 fight. Either could make the other look bad.
 
This fight is a throwback to "pure striker vs pure grappler" days. If Lesnar can take Hunt down, he wins fair and square, there can be no excuses there. But if he can't... god have mercy on him.

is this a joke? brock who doesn't like to get hit? hunto will waste him. it will be the worst KO in history.
 
5 years is quite the layoff. I can't see this as being more than a cash grab. After he was sick he was brutalized by his opponents. That being said Mark as a plodding striker is the ideal fight for him to win if his agility is the same. I will still be banking on Hunt to win though.
 
both sides would most likely make excuses but in Hunt's case every time he loses some idiot say its because he was out of shape and extra fat

I like both fighters and hope neither give an embarrassing performance. Let's just hope for an entertaining fight and enjoy the sport.

The saltiness and denial we saw in Rockhold at the post-fight press conference - I think it's even uglier in a lot of fans. At least Rockhold has achieved something in this sport, even if I dislike his persona.

The haters on this site are ridiculous sometimes, and just can't give these tough fighters their dues.
