What ever happened to Nick The Tooth?

Came here expecting the '... was never my friend / bullet to the back of the head'-gif.
Left disappointed.

Sherdog's really gone downhill.

So weird to lose a grappling match with a SHW blackbelt that you called out and throw a fit. Never really cared for that guy.

When you piss off Dana, you're no longer an up and coming MMA media personality. I think thats all there is to it.

He was never a media personality, he was Dana's personal friend who got invited along to things

I really liked him and actually dont watch the show anymore since hes gone, but iirc he was completely in the wrong and acted like a child in that serra argument.

I just remember him calling out Matt Serra to roll in that youtube series and getting destroyed then complaining to Matt offline lol..

I think Bisping was more entertaining in his fill-in role in Abu Dhabi in the "Looking Forward to a Fight" youtube video and I think Din Thomas is also pretty good.

End of the day....whatever group of people that Dana chooses to do these video shoots with him, the most important thing is that all 3 people have to get along REALLY WELL, as the whole vibe of it is "3 buddies on vacation doing fun shit" and that's the main thing. Bisping has been personal friends with Dana for a long time, he knows how to play the game, and it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that he's got the cage-side analysis gig and the other UFC work after he stopped fighting.

if I remember correctly his beef was entirely with Serra, Dana got put into the position of Serra or the Tooth....

I thought it was because he was vegan/vegetarian or something like that and dana or mat made him eat some meat. Idk. My memory is bad.

A guy gets embarrassed, tapping out to a guy with his own jujitsu school?

He was bothered that Serra went so hard and didn’t let him take off his schools rash guard.

He didn’t want a 20 year black belt “making an example” out of him, and he didn’t want his own BJJ school to look bad.

It could have been aired with more context. Instead of setting it up like they’re equals, and ending it with Dana and Serra making fun of him.

They also appear to have set him up for an unimaginably painful tasering for the lolz

Basically this, and Dana made right choice. Most people dont even care hes gone. Actually would rather Bisping replace Din or be added as additional person in the group
