He's a PR nightmare

Everyone knows he is capable of beating the golden boys including Conor, but Khalib himself isn't going to be very marketable

So how long can the UFC keep him away from the bigger money drawing fighters ?

Keep him as far away from Conor as possible.

i reckon if the UFC actually made some effort into marketing, they could play up the blonde afro wig thing that Khabib wears?? make him into a character?

How is he not marketable? He has the Fedor thing going on right now, and is clearly the best fighter at LW, and P4P might be a top 3 fighter.

Market him like Fedor, as a Russian Savage that can't lose, and dominates with ease.

Stall as long as possible. Next opponent will be Eddy Alvarez. Winner for the belt.

Khalib? Dude who plays flr the Broncos?
I think they should keep him, but tell him to chill with the brawls with Crabtree.

Khabib could become a super villain that everyone may wanna see lose. He doesn't have to go Jon Jones route, him being Muslim alone could garner enough hatred for him. Villains are very marketable imo.

What?? Its very easy to market an undefeated fighter who mauls people. Its a different thing altogether that UFC exhausts all its PR budget on Conor and some of Dana's favourite boys.

Running mans long gone man. I believe he recently passed Jupiter. Brownie points to the vets that get it.

fedor can't crack 100k ppvs even when he has people like chael, wanderlei and 3 title fights on the same card.

Dude, Fedor isn't even a top 100 fighter anymore. TF is your point? You think Conor's gonna bring more than 300k ppvs when he's 40, and no one cares about him anymore?

Nail Conor down to a fight by may.

If he won't do it, strip him and book khabib vs tony

If he does do it book khabib vs any other top fiver

Exactly what they are doing right now with him. Keep him on the back burners as long as they can keep making money off Conor.

Hes marketable as hell
The hat ,the unbeaten record, the smashing way he fights, the quotes (u must give up) and broken english etc

Why is he a PR nightmare? Why can't he draw any money?

Why is it that the UFC can't draw money with so many people who have exciting fights and big personalities. Do you see a pattern developing here? It's almost as if the UFC doesn't know how to promote.

Why is it that Pride could draw money with relatively unknown foreigners that didn't speak a lick of Japanese, but the UFC can't do the same with arguably the best roster in the history of the sport?

The UFC is not good at "promoting". Their role is essentially to give you a platform for you to promote yourself. Do yourself a favor and order the Rizin PPV and watch someone actually "promote" something.

He's already risen to one of the most popular fighters with almost no push from the UFC. Look at his record, most of his fights were on FS1 and undercards. They only started putting weight behind him after the Conor Chicken callout at 205.

The dude has star potential, cuz he's already a star. He isn't a mainstream star so what? He's one of the biggest MMA stars.
