What does overtraining feel like

you aren't feeling it...
I haven't felt it
but I got close, I ran smolov jr for bench several times and the last time my left elbow, shoulder and wrist all started hurting and felt like had no pain. I old wake up at night from shooting pain in my shoulder and bikes. but also just general fatigue and a falling out of love with the gym

Opposite. Am bored cause I have to rest. Tomorrow I'll go to a swim / sauna blah thing. And do active recovery.

Sunday boxing 2h

Than new week and train smarter. 2 in one day wensday was overkill cause I did both sessions hard S&C. Learning. Gotta incoorporate lighter sessions with steady light cardio, long stretching, mobility and technique.

2 long hard sessions is for people who grinded for years.

Self improvement tip #77. Do less self improvement.

Exactly these.

Mind and body are separate, but they are connected. Imagine training intensely five days a week for many weeks. Physiologically, your body can't keep up. Psychologically, you put yourself through hell every session. Those combined and sticking with you for a long time causes lots of problems, the biggest one being cortisol chronically elevated. It's not a happy feeling until you just rest.

Most people don't train hard in the gym. They have too many exercises in their program. The volume becomes unsustainable.

I need my daily dosis of attention @Frode Falch @maximus__ @ROcknrollracing @NoSmilez @Yoricks Wisdom @biscuitsbrah @axhand1e @Kowboy On Sherdog

My first youtubde video. I can´t make a thread in the stand up forum as I misbehaved verbaly and got yellows. Fair game, it was waranted.

Definitely like feedback from Frode, Biscuit and Max since you guys train. Espceialy Frode and Biscuit.

Hey man. You seem to have a solid understanding of what you are doing and why - whilst hitting the pads. It looks like you need more time to become fluid but you clearly have an instinct or well conceptualised understanding of why you are moving the way you are.

mmm this day we both did +50 mistakes. We did 2.5 hours of light drills, just a bit pads. Hard to explain we both just kept doing mistakes in the drills lol, was such a day. Maybe we talked to much or whatever. Certain drills we both got it wrong almost 10 in a single round, it was a tad confusing, part also cause new drills and I´ma elfty but I keep switching stances during rounds. In this clip he actuallly confused me with the combos. I don´t have the vids of me holding pads, I´m a much better pad holder than him. He is a pro fighter but I´m much much more fluid holding the pads. Plus he got confused a few times cause I´m a south paw. Exactly my thoughts the round didn´t flow, but I blame him. It´s fine we still got work in. Also we didn´t do any fast combos, was all sort of power. Now that you m ention it, I kept switching stances, yeah that was it 100%. I work on the bag solo a lot and at this point switch stances without thinking bout it or even intending it. That must been it. And a few combos were confusing me. Pad should be simpler and on the go. If I can get the clip of me holding you can see what I mean. Really clear simple instructions. Long combos only like give me 8 punches, 8 straights. I mean you can do complex mixed combos but it takes a bit out of the round to nail it.

and thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it

And now to think of it I´m not an expert pads / mits hitter. Our boxing trainer where we came up didn´t hold pad for us and we never held pads for ech other. In 7 years I remember I hit pads once with him. I also trained in other places, but not as much and I really didn´t do a significant amount of pad hitting. But it is very fun and much more mobile than static heavy bag. I use the heavy bad all my life. I can just hit it without a partner or gym.

bro in the video got a pro kickbox fight saturday, than pro box fight sunday. I immediately knew why. Money. Usually noone would do it. I did see it once in Bosnia before that a guy did 2 ammy box fights on consecutive days. He def got finished in the second fight by guy from our gym.

We´re the same height but on different weight spectrums. 182 cm, 113.5 kg (I am droping fat) and 71 kg.

So since I practiced rope jumps hard, my calves area is pretty compromised and I have a gigantic blister. So I figure today I hit the heavy bag and swim. Swiming doesn´t affect my feet. And just hit the bag for fun. maybe a tad weights. Like throw around the giant tire. I like when people look at me at the gym. Gives me strength. And I hope to motivate. If this fat guy can move, I wanna infect the others to work hard too.

that pic looks realy weird. Well couldn´t delete it if I wanted to since I got piss cards as punishment. Whatever it´s just feet. Now some foot fetish people gonna download it. And look at my blister.
