I gave it a 6 as the early card was somewhat boring with a lot of decisions and the Dillasnake injury spectacle could barely be called a fight.
I'm not a TJ fan, so I personally enjoyed watching Aljo treat him like a scrub for two rounds.

I rated it an 8 overall.

Opener was underwhelming.
Beneil vs Gamrot was exciting.
Yan vs O’Malley was intense.
Aljo vs TJ was a let down for sure.
Charles vs Islam answered all the questions for me.

I'm also not a fan of the Dillasnake but I wanted to see an actual fight, not a guy wincing and trying to survive an injury for a couple rounds. It was a bummer for me

A disappointing 4. Yan was robbed. Dillishaw wasn’t healthy. Terrible women’s fight on the main card. Headliner wasn’t particularly competitive.

7. It didnt live up to how good it looked on paper, it was a decision fest and there was some BS like the TJ incident and the Sean decision and a somewhat unsatisfactory finish to Belal/Brady.......BUT..... Yan/O'Malley was one of the best fights of the year, Islams performance was crazy, the Mokaev/Gordon and Dariush/Gamrot fights were rare instances of exciting grapplefests, and Oezdemir/Krylov was a good fight too. There was more than enough to like for 6 hours or so of television.

6 for me. It had its moments but was also a letdown for reasons that others have already stated.

Now that you had time to digest and take it in. What's your score?

I give it a solid 7. Without question it didn't meet the hype. However, the best fight was O'Malley/Yan.

Went with 7.

The undercard was good. Dariush's fight was good.

I mostly skipped the snow cone vs Yan fight.

I dislike TJ and sterling, but was interested to watch that fight until it turned into a dumpster fire.

Thoroughly enjoyed the main event.

On paper she was a nine. Mustve had beer goggles on, rolled over to a five or six in the morning!

Slightly above average. Yan-O'Malley was an awesome fight, even if I disagreed with the decision.

You skipped the best fight IMO.

the impact of the event and rankings is why I gave it a 7, but wasn't as epic as I thought it was

7 is fair I think. I didn't feel there were many great fights, Dariush vs Gamrot was very good

Decent main card with some questionable judging and decisions (like letting TJ fight with an egregious injury) and some absolutely horrible prelims - 5
One of the weaker PPV's of the year overall especially with how hyped it was.

If i’m not mistaken, didnt JMMA stop rounds to tend to easily remedied injuries — e.g. deep cuts?
I’d imagine they would tend to dislocated shoulders as well.
I’m not too sure on the extremity of TJ’s shoulder injury, but I think having a doctor tend to his shoulder immediately in the fight would’ve, at the very least, ensured he wouldnt have sustained more damage to his shoulder

I get that Murikkkan MMA wants their matches to bare the most semblance to an actual fight, but — idk; it just seems ridiculous to me when something that clearly was an unintentional injury to TJ’s shoulder would’ve just counted as a W on Sterling’s record if TJ hadn’t gotten TKO’d.

7/10. Tale of two cards. From Belal-Brady to the main events pretty awesome.

I think the Abu Dhabi crowds are sort of medium energy.

An 8 for me.. Two great fights and Dariush picked up the slack for the snake injury. Could have been a 9 with a co-main.

Hype was through the roof so I was always going to be let down.
