Movies What do you like more: Movies or Music?

Music. I rarely watch movies anymore.

Movies subsume music (and painting/art), so this is hardly fair. Just like music subsumes poetry. Just like video games subsume movies.

Currently, video games are the ultimate expression of art.

Music is more accessible, you can just play it in your car or anywhere. Movies you have to find a time or place to enjoy them.

But overall I'd say I'm more a movie guy than a music guy.

Music by far. Videogames vs Music would be closer for me, but music would still come out on top. It is just a huge part of me and always has been. Also, there is more variety of music that I like than any other form of art too. I can find something in ANY genre that I could enjoy. Not so with any other art form. For me, of course.

I'm more likely to watch a movie i haven't seen before than listen to music I haven't heard before

I feel music is more versatile but movies is the more complete form of art. Dunno but that’s what I feel, don’t know which I like more tho.

Music reaches the soul like no movie

As a kid, music.

As an adult, movies.

Home theater wasn't great in the 80/90's but it's much better now so it's so much more enjoyable. Eg, surround sound, 4k etc.

If you only watch streaming on TV speakers then you won't understand.

Music tech has only gotten worse since the advent of CD's in 82. Especially if you only do digital.

Also, music went downhill in the late 90's so I can only listen to the same songs over & over & over from before 2000. Including classical music.

One good song/piece is fun for maybe 10 minutes. Or longer if classical

After that it's constant repetition & I've had my fill of that song/piece for the next 10 years.

Like watching the same move 10 times or more a year when you compare length.

Music. It's given me the most pleasure in life. It's the greatest thing in life for me.
Haven't been to the pictures in around 25 years, i suppose. When i used to go to the cinema, it was mainly to watch what a usually referred to as 'independent films.'

They both kind of go hand in hand. So this is pretty tough.

But I will give you an answer: Music.
