what do fighters eat after they weigh in, up to time of fight??

Curious as to why?

Well pedialyte is meant to prevent dehydration when infants have diarrhea so I assume it is full of electrolytes and all that good stuff for someone looking to rehyrdrate.

Curious as to why?

Pedialyte renews your electrolytes (if you just drink water you can actually end up with Hyponatremia... aka water poisoning).

Baby food is just a good way to carb load (if you get the right kind) because it is high nutrient, high energy, and really, really easy to digest.

Pasta is good it's thick and as u stated lots of water most the weight comes back based on that

In Yves Edwards case, Twinkies, Lays BBQ chips, and other snacks. He even brings enough to share with his opponents!

i like how he keeps it real haha

I weighed 167 last night and fought in September at 145. I usually diet to about 157-158 over the course of several weeks.

After weigh ins I immediately drink a mixture of pedialyte and EnduroxR4 (a 4:1 carbs protein recovery drink) and a rockstar recovery (it has milk thistle and a few other things you want in it).

I take R-ALA and Creatine to make the water and nutrients enter my body, and then consume as much pineapple and healthy snacks as I can (Onnit's recipe for hemp force balls is a great example).

This is all 10 feet from the scale (I make manager carry a huge backpack of food and drinks).

Then I go eat sweet potatoe and chicken / steak and veggies meal. Then later at night I eat a really crappy glycogen replacement meal (pasta, breadsticks, ugly carbs).

Hope that helps.
