Curious as to what foods they eat to put back on 20+pounds in 24 hours....I know they drink alot of fluids to replace water weight, but what do certain fighters eat pre fight routine.

gotta be careful what you eat right away and you can really feel F'd up. Baby food or other not so solid stufff is def best to start with.

and to TS, they eat because they are hungry. SURPRISE!!

I'm sure most if not all fighters get an IV full of vitamins, potassium, etc after the weigh ins.

Remember that pic of Michael Bisping's meal?
The guy was about to chow at least 5000 cal in one sitting.

Some eat badly, john Maguire told me he has burgers and ice cream, says he tried healthy food and didn't feel right. Martin Rooney coaches little and often, simple carbs and complex as well as protein. Tom Watson says he has English roast dinner which makes sense as it's meat veg potatoes etc. Most eat what they want but overheating can make you sluggish and make you retain water. Rich Franklin swears by a whole jar of peanut butter, dolce just says frequent dolce meals. Hope this provides an insight.

Jones said he has a spoonfull of honey before a fight on TUF Nations.

Normal saline

You dont want to pump someone who is dehydrated, whose potassium levels will be falsely high, full of potassium.

Just a few bags of 0.9%NS

In Yves Edwards case, Twinkies, Lays BBQ chips, and other snacks. He even brings enough to share with his opponents!
