Wondering what fans of some of the other less charismatic fighters think of DJ.

I think DJ is one of the best fighters in the world. What the hell does lack of charisma have to do with fighting ability?

Fedor was charismatic in his own way.

He's tiny and hard to get excited to watch.

love DJ, can be a very exciting fighter at times, ie destruction of cejudo.

I feel guilty watching. It feels like I am watching someone forcing sixth graders to cage fight or midget rasslin'. I feel dirty after watching.

One of the best p4p fighters in the world (if not the best) at the moment. I think he doesn't really get the respect he deserves and I'd love to see him have another crack at the 135 belt.

Edit: I also disagree that he isn't charismatic. He's just in an unpopular weight class and he doesn't portray himself like Conor McGregor.

From what I've heard Jared Hamman fans love MM.

DJ is the shit,it seems like hes finally starting to get the overdue respect he deserves. But now its like theres no one left for him to fight at this weight.

I totally disagree Fedor and Gunnar arent charismatic.
Demetrious is one of the GOAT´s period

Apparently being a total loud mouth is the only definition of charisma on here. Tito never shuts his mouth, but he dont got any charisma neither.

Fedor wasn't charismatic ? Lol.

MM is simply the best in the world right now. No one can beat him at 125.

Who gives a fuck what other fighters think about MM ? I bet he gets way more respect among his peers than from most of the assholes in here, though.

Because some thing tells me they know how good he is whether he's short or not.

fedor was polarizing and still is. Gunnar is just a soft spoken man with a shy disposition.

I consider him one of the greatest MMA fighters ever in his weight class, period.

I'm a fan of Fedor & Gunnar, and a fan of MM as well. I think every now and then, MM embraces a little of the smug P4P talk, but I'm not sure if it's forced or out of frustration because he doesn't get the credit he deserves. The guy has cleaned out his division and put on some truly incredible performances, but always seems to get overlooked. Perhaps it's his demeanor... perhaps it's the weightclass... regardless, I think he definitely deserves a lot more respect than he's given by most.

I think Mouse is big (er....) fish in a very, very small pond.

He's The Lord of the Flies. All in all great, but I don't take the 125 division seriously.

I think Fedor and Gunnar are much larger men. They're also more charismatic.

MM is like a geeky younger brother type. Endearing, sure. Charismatic? Nah.

The bottom line is that people don't care for the 125 lb division. Just because people are skilled doesn't mean they're entertaining. Can anyone name a 108 lb boxer? Now name a HW, GO! People claim boxing is different, but it's pretty similar in that nobody cares about the guys who enter the ring at 125 - 135lb and below.

The little guys are boring yeah i know they technical and fast and shit but it just doesnt do it for me.. Lightweight and up i like but 125 and 135 nah not my cup of tea

Since I don't believe in P4P bullshit, I'll say that he's simply the best in the world at 125. But he's far from being the best in the world.
