Crime What did the cops do wrong today Megathread Vol. 6 ? (who knows, lots of cop threads)

Dumbass MPs in Okinawa got themselves in the shit because they assumed this civilian was a serviceman who was violating curfew and tackled him when he told them to go away after they demanded his ID.

It's not really the excessive force resulting in a broken neck partially paralyzed that should upset you. Because at this point - it's almost SOP. It's the laughter, apathy, and corruption in cover up from the "good guys", including his partner, other officers, chief of corrections, and EMT.

Off topic, but I noticed that this guy took a long hiatus from posting and started a new channel.

He says that it was because cops who consider him a traitor kept mass reporting his old one.

Cops use hearsay to beat the shit out of teens. Cops lie on camera. Earn a 3 month paid vacation after the beating goes viral. The main attacker gets no charges and is allowed to resign.

Zero accountability ever.

If you want to use violence against the innocent, kill people and rob people become a cop

Off duty drunk cop kills a man. Everyone laughs. They try to mute cameras. They give her 5 hours to sober up. They try everything they can to help her out. The laughing is so gross. The killer is stressed about her vacation to Mexico being impacted.

The owner of the bar where this idiot was drinking refused cooperate with the investigation and possibly destroyed evidence to protect her.

The officers doing the investigation weren't trying to cover for her like the ones on the scene, but that's probably because this case had already gotten a ton of negative media attention and was an embarrassment for the state.

Don’t know if this was posted, but the infamous deputy that overdosed on fentanyl in the police department bathroom and had to be revived with narcan, was shot and killed by officers after a high speed pursuit after he murdered his own 11 year old son while his wife (mother of the murdered child) watched on home security cameras. He stabbed the boy to death. He was terminated from his deputy job in 2024 after it was discovered that he stole drugs from a suspect and used them in the bathroom.

I hope there’s a special place in hell for this guy. He murdered his own 11 year old son-what an absolutely evil fuck. Man, I hope there’s bullets that entered him cavititated (spun) inside his body and hurt like hell.

So this was a viral clip of a girl being told off by her Dad where everyone was praising the Dad for being a "real Father" and putting her in her place. The YouTube video has 4 million views:

Civil Rights Lawyer did a review of the lawfulness of the arrest, she was arrested after allegedly speeding where he tried to wave her to stop from the side of the road, she didn't realize he was an actual Cop and she kept going. He searched for her car to pursue arrest:

The Cop and her Father both accuse her of being "cocky" when she was just being assertive. The Father says she isnt "using manners" when she was never rude to the Cop. The Cop implies she has been manner-less the entire time. The arrest is not legal, the officer has NO evidence she was even speeding, he claims she was speeding because she passed a car, and she's gaslit through the entire conversation and remains incredibly calm for someone so young.

That cop looks like a fucking mall security guard. I wouldn't have stopped for him either.

The comments on the initial video and the father's behavior here make my head hurt.

Most people wouldn't reflexively trust or side with any other type of government official over their own family members, but they'll do it when a random cop shows up running his mouth with zero evidence to back up his word.

There was a similar incident to this that the Civil Rights Lawyer also covered.

I have mixed feelings on TCRL because he is one of those "covid regulations were tyranny" d*ckheads and he also is avoiding ICE's behavior like the plague. But I do appreciate his breakdowns from time to time.

BP Cast is still the only one I watch with any regularity because he covers ICE and CBP doing dumb sh*t.

The bar owner was protecting himself from possible litigation regarding over serving. IMO

Compliant man is cuffed in the back of the car. Cop snaps for no reason opens door and slams man's head directly into pavement. This is borderline attempted murder.

The Copaganda after the attempted murder is outrageous.

That's so sad. All she wanted to do was steal some alcohol so she could get drunk and cause her baby to be born with severe birth defects, and also run over people who try to stop her. And now she'll never get to experience those things.

RIP to this young innocent mother

Yes, say her name!

Well, cops have cost tax payers one of the largest settlements in the country’s history by shooting a teen running from someone shooting at him in San Diego killing a 16 year old boy. While I am sure the cop thought he was shooting the shooting suspect, he fucked up and cost the city 30 million dollars and the boy and his family, his life. While I think that such a large settlement is absurd, I can’t argue that the cops royally fucked up here.

Not quite sure what this has to do with cops, but then again, this thread intitially had nothing to do with bad cops if you go and look at the op where cops shot an armed shooter as he jumped and fled from a porch.

Hes probably going to make some ignorant argument about how sending social workers to deal with the mentally ill is a bad idea even though they stand way less of a chance of escalating incidents with the mentally ill to violence than Police do. And I dont always blame police for that. I dobt think they're trained well enough to differentiate mental crisis from intentional criminality, and some do just start barking commands at someone in no fit state to obey, but also people in mental crisis are likely to respond very poorly to a uniformed armed agent approaching them to begin with.

I was always very good about not barking orders at someone already in crisis as it rarely works. Sometimes, people don’t always respond to please and thank you though, and you have to speak their language so they understand. And this wasn’t sending social workers on a call-it was at their facility.

With that said, officers now receive cit training to be able to spot someone in crisis-however, often it resembles drug use or they are both present-but I don’t agree with sending social workers on many calls because the mentally ill are, well, mentally ill and unpredictable and erratic. I am more in favor with sending social workers/mental health expert teams that include law enforcement for when things get too out of control.

Yeah I dont think social workers should be alone, that's not what I was suggesting. Just that a group of uniforms with someone who already isn't going to trust people easily is a greater risk to escalate.
