No strawman needed, you want to act like a prick after committing a traffic infraction and escalate the situation. You can deal with the consequences. There are plenty of times that cops are in the wrong but this entitled NFL player brought this on himself.

Anyway, cops dont have license to beat your @ss because they feel you're "entitled." He was asked to roll the window down, he rolled it down enough to communicate. That's the only legal obligation he had. He was threatened to keep it there, he did. The Cop followed through on his threat anyway and told him to get out. He WAS getting out and the Cops decided to escalate and go hands-on. There is nothing at all appropriate or Professional about their behavior.

The police aren't anyone's bosses. That's now what being a Cop means. Telling a Cop not to bang on your window doesnt give them any specific right to kick your @ss, neither does speeding. And trying to imply that it does is absurd. Cops have authority in the capacity of their job, and you have rights to protect you from them overstepping their authority. They're not an altogether different class of people.

The only abusive entity in this case were the Cops. Hill was told to roll the window back down, he did, he was told to keep the window down, it WAS down, he was commanded to step out of the car and they put hands on him before he could even undo his seatbelt. Sorry if you don't want to unpack that because you have a low opinion of out-spoken allegiance, but those Cops did not behave in a manner which honors their oath to the f*ckin Constitution.
