That sounds nice and I'm for UHC, but at the same time when you're in the tax bracket of higher or highest citizens and still get the same care as the so called lowest citizens, it becomes a little hard to digest. If a flat fee were taken from our taxes and not a percentage with the option to upgrade services, it would be more fair.Well duh. It wouldn't be free like it is for Canadian citizens. But the lowest Canadian has access to healthcare and won't be turned away at the hospital because they don't have insurance. Again, not saying our system is perfect, far from it. But a lot more Americans would benefit from our system, and the Canadian people would suffer if forced to switch to a pay for care system. "A nation should not be judged by how it treats its highest citizens, but its lowest ones".
