What cologne do you wear?

Yeah, it almost smelled too good.

I was hot shit for a few years wearing this new thing but by the early 2000s every other dude at the club was wearing it. Never seen or, um, smelled anything like it.

Di Gio was very good it was light, interesting smell, its had to describe but it wasnt a long lasting scent if you didn't take care of it, it would go rancid or lose its tones.

I left mine in the bathroom and after a month it lost its unique smell and starting to smell bad, also it depends on your body chemistry, some people body will react better so certain tones will be stronger.

I used to just spray the cologne on my under shirt that I wore under my button down.

Colognes are complex, they have several different notes(scents) that you can smell, its why some colognes smell different toward the end of the day some colognes the good ones smell even better during the end of the day.

Notes in perfumery are descriptors of scents that can be sensed upon the application of a perfume. Notes are separated into three classes; top/head notes, middle/heart notes, and base notes; which denote groups of scents which can be sensed with respect to the time after the application of a perfume.

I love Creed Green Irish Tweed such a nice fresh light smell no headaches and chicks love it and it lasts really long had a bottle for over 8 years and still smells the same.

Does Theirry Mugler Pure Malt smell good? Everyone was rocking the Theirry Mugler Angel for men and that stuff wasnt all it was hyped to be didnt like the smell at all, I was also never a fan of Chrome by Azzarro but those two were popular angel and Chrome back in the day.

I do like Green Tweed, but not so much to buy a bottle. Do have a few 5ml sample bottles, though, for eating out, usually.

TMM is one of my favourites, in both smell and performance. Smells great, has decent projection, and lasts all day on me. I usually wear it out to parties, and it gets attention.

Then again, it's not that hard to stand out, when most people my age use either deoderants or 1 Million every time. Not that there's anyhting wrong with 1M, but it gets boring when everyone smells exactly alike.

Oh, man, I get uncomfortable when people don't store their fragrances properly, like having them in bathrooms or windowsills. It's just asking to get messed up by the environment.

Its weird how Cologne can catch a womans attention, obviously you have to look good well groomed and dressed nicely but that right scent makes it a memorable first impression. I know so many girls who remember my scent, they would meet me or talk with me and say what are you wearing and id tell them, and they would remember, like a chick I used to talk with years ago I saw he again and she said hey cutey and told me I used to wear so and so cologne. A lot of women who crush on you will even go out and buy a small bottle of the cologne.

Women also hate super strong musky cologne, they like unique scents and something that wont give them a headache.

Also people need to know the types of occasions, colognes are used for different occasions, you have night time cologne for special events its mostly darker masculine scents, the lighter fruit and floral scents aka sporty scents are mainly for day time a walk in the park or on the beach and summer.

Man Curve was my shit back in high school, I wore it because I enjoyed the smell it was so lively and light not super strong or headache inducing like hog boss. It smelled like citrus and cucumber women loved that smell too. there are some colognes that you just love the smell like one wiff off your arm or shirt it brings you back to life, I love forest scents too. The only downer with many colognes is they go bad if not taken care of, womens perfurme are a lot stronger and oil based so they last longer in harsher environments. Thats why when I get colognes I always try to get the smallest possible spray, ill even get those tiny sampler sprays that cost a dollar to two first. Im not going to use them daily so its kind a waste to buy the giant bottle if it goes bad after 3 years.


Creed Green Irish Tweed is different its lighter and less sharper in scent, the only thing you will smell the same from it is the Cucumber, creed is less citrusy a bit more floral, Curve had more citrus an cucumber and had a sharper zesty scent.

GIT is very light though it wears off, I think Creed is probably the original Aqua Di Gio, in similarity in terms of uniqueness, lightness.

This bad boy here is one of the best unique sporty scents I wish I bought a bottle since I heard they changed the formula in 2017 not sure if true, it kinda has a slight powder donut too it, but a unique smell it really smells good because its good fro a summer date even a nice out door dance or concert on the park scent

Lol I figured that too, that's why I tried it at the store first, then bought the teeny ass bottle (which looks nothing like that btw). It actually smells good but like Polo (at least to me) I can't handle it all day every day.

Same with YSL La Nuit de L'Homme. It's good for maybe a night out but all day it kinda grates on my nose.

Acqua di Gio - especially the Profumo version - and Aventus I could smell all day and not get a headache.

I actually bought a bottle of CKBe in like 2000 because a chick I dug wore it. The psychological effect it had on me made me feel good and gave me more confidence.
