What possible college major/school/career/life paths would you consider for your child?

Get a minor in IS (or double major, CS is rather more difficult), thats Information Systems.

Then your just schoozing VP's all day (who tend to also be outgoing/non engineering types (on the whole, I'm stereotyping)).

Of course you tend to start out with brutal cold-call schedules of 150 calls+ per day, but if you can get into higher-end shit, then its the most ridiculous high-school esque back and forth bullshit (but, at a respectable range of "damn, he/she's fucking good") and closing $1M deals or whatnot.

You said consider for your CHILD. Why aren't you just exposing your kid to a multitude of things they MAY enjoy, then support them when they find THAT path?

Outside of sales, maybe PR. They can do corporate, or creative shit (festivals, music, etc.)

Parents do not typically chose their childrens career paths. Even if you do there is no guarantee your child will listen.

Also considering you call him a child, I'm assuming hes not even in high school yet. Personalities change during puberty, almost every child is outgoing that doesn't mean he's going to be outgoing when he grows up.

Let him chose his own path.
