Some of my ideas, agree or disagree are...

1. Trim the fat. Get rid of fighters that are boring and/or on a 3+ fight losing streak.
2. Stagger the cards and have maybe one PPV a month to build up hype and have names to stack cards.
3. Get rid of UFN cards and only have UFC on FOX to build up fighters that could be big. FOX cards are on during prime time and get a lot more viewers than UFN cards.
4. Use fight pass to showcase up and coming fighters, throw in a solid main event to draw more viewers.
5. Make rankings count to bring back legitimacy.
6. Promote fighters and fight cards better. So many cards they don't have time to put in the promotion needed. Better promo would get them better numbers.
7. Get rid of WMMA or have WMMA only cards for ppl that want to watch it.

Thoughts?

Dump that WMMA shit!

Move it to Invicta so the people who want to watch it can and those that dont aren't forced to endure that garbage taking up space on cards.

...or yes, have women only cards and well see how many actually watch them.

7 is fucked.

For me, they can reward the best fighters and use a real ranking system. Make it fair, make it a sport.

15 minutes rounds
Football kicks
12/6 elbows
Yellow Cards
Release the top 15-30 from the FLW division, merge the rest into 135 lbs
Ban weight-cutting / legalize IVs
Scout new talent outside the USA
Free Jon Jones
Naked WMMA

I hate to say put on fewer shows because I love MMA. But giving some time for things to build and give proper promotion to may help. Also, the cards would be stacked better.
But a lot of things would happen from doing that.

I love everything, but as a businessperson, I can't cosign the naked WMMA.

Yeah they need fewer cards. I think point 5 is the key.

- Change every fighter's name to Conor (few exceptions) - his fans are too stupid to realize the change
- make a fight between Demetrious... sorry... Conor Johnson vs Brock Lesnar
- keep only sexy female fighters
- females vs males - power to the SJWs, there is no gender
- all the bjj fighters and all the wrestlers go to Bellator
- make steroids legal. But only if you take them with cocaine. You are welcome, Jon!

Dana is past his "Sell by" date. Everything he is doing correctly, the next guy can do. Plus more. Hell, get a female in there, and really blow some minds.

They should stop targeting specific fighters to market (Sage, Paige, etc), and put all the top 10 guys out there and let the fans choose who to follow.

Get rid of the Ultimate Fighter, and get creative with new shows that focus on the actual top fighters.

Who is Darren Till? He's a UFC Fighter. I know that because i saw him beat Cerrone's ass, and I also watch the MMA Hour. But anyone that didn't see that PPV or watch the MMA Hour wouldn't know who the hell he is. But if the UFC had a show on prime time tv, that focused on different top fighters, alot of casuals and even people that aren't that big of fans may also learn who he is.

Go back to the regular model of things. Stop granting special treatment and chasing money grab circus fights.

PPV is a dying business
Sure they'd like to have higher numbers now but that wont last another 10 years no matter what they do
For the long term its much more important to build the brand through free tv and marketing their fighters into other aspects of the entertainment world
Gotta get that licensing and merchandising money kicked up son!

They really don't market them that much
Page & Sage market themselves incredibly
PVZ was built by her social media, DWTS & sponsors

If it was easy to have b-level PPV's do better, both UFC & Boxing would & Bellator would not have lost millions (they promoted the F out of that)

PPV in 2017 is a superstar or superfight driven vehicle
Remember Floyd did 400k in between MayMac & MayPac

There's nothing they can do besides ride it out, make money where it can (profit on lower level PPVs is still there so there's no reason to abandon the market yet) and see where your TV deal takes you in the future.

Also hopefully everyone realizes that card depth is a myth to PPV buyers and stop putting "big enough to headline on free TV" fights on PPV and move them to free TV where they can do better numbers.

Good point. But they did put them in the spotlight at times. I haven't tracked their social media, but I'm assuming they have gotten more attention from the UFC social media than others.
