I watched Smashing Machine randomly on HBO and it got me interested in cock fighting. Ordered UFC 41 and got on sherdog shortly thereafter. Not really into mma the way I used to be.

IIRC I looked up Igor Vovchanchyn online in probably an HP computer with a dial-up connection more than 20 years ago during my free time when I was a freshman in cawledge.

There were also the "viral" vids back in teh day.

I was googling mma topics and I first saw forums.sherdog.com It was love at first sight and I knew it was the one

I was on a football/soccer forum and I got butthurt in the MMA thread arguing with an Ubereem fan. I'd been lurking on Sherdog for a little while, but decided to start posting just to shit talk Ubereem in front of a bigger audience (there were only 5 people on that football forum who watched MMA)

I got interested in MMA and found out that Russian MMA forums were toxic cesspools. Then I found out about Sherdog, used fight finder quite a bit, then lurked for a couple of years, then registered.

Liddell - Ortiz 1. I had been watching teh UFC since 94ish, mostly on VHS, etc. Chuck and Tito is what got me hooked as a fan and pursuing information online, which is how I wound up here. I didn't join for a few more years after that, and my name wasn't Thai Domi back then either.

I was a lurker for years and eventually moved to a tiny village in the middle of nowhere. Surrounded by dumbasses. Figured better to talk to randos on here than those goobers. In hindsight, it was a terrible decision.
