What are your thoughts on extended breast feeding?

Most sensible thought in the thread., it's good for you.
My first Thanksgiving in the US I internally laughed my ass off when the couple's house we went to the new mother whipped her tit out before we ate to feed her son. My other half didn't know where to look and went bright red.

That's only because society made the human body bad, and naughty in some way.

Man tits = good, women tits = not good. Both downstairs = not good. Bums = okay. Well on Naked & Afraid anyway.

I feel it is more for the mothers psychiatric need than the kids nutritional one.

The mom does not want to detach. She wants to feel her kid is not growing up and she is still as needed.

No kid should be old enough that they have those memories to draw on later. Especially boy children. I am not trying to be a prude but that crosses weird lines for most young men. and you don't need to trigger that memory while having a real sexual encounter.

What are your thoughts on interspecies breastfeeding?

How normal does this look?

Is there any documented detrimental effect of extended breastfeeding, for either the mother or child?

I think it's weird AF too, but taking from the reactions in the thread I wonder if people know what they're talking about.

milf who likes her tits suckled said:
Your breasts absorb the saliva of your nursing child and take inventory on what they need.

Is this true? Is the 10 year old really getting all the nutrients he needs?

I came off the teats late, best decision I ever made.

So I was looking at random pictures on IG and saw this MILF who was breast feeding her little boy child who was like over 5 years old which I found very weird. In the comment section bunch of Karen's supported her with comments like "it's normal and natural. You can breast feed your child until his 10".

I think it's not normal and I wouldn't let my wife do that. What are your throught?

So it turns out the kid is 3, not 5, and she plans to stop as soon as he turns 4.

I still think that's too old though.

The world is a weird place and we have way too much access to what dumb people do.

I blame the mom for not wanting to detach. My ex-wife and mother of my kids cut them off well before 2.

I'm going to be generous and ask how many of the breastfeeding moms of a child over 4 years of age are in 2 parent household.

i would be very interested to see long term studies on this and alos to know the inner motivations and experiences of both parties. until then i just dont have a strong opinion. social taboos are often really stupid and limiting and sometimes they are dead right.

Would you breastfeed a child who is over 5 years old?

And keep doing it until he is 10?

To be honest other then some moral objections from people I am curious of the scientific benefits of it. The argument that breastfeeding a kid past 10 "could" mess them up mentally doesn't work since 99% only breastfeed until 1 or 2 years old now and there are tons of mentally unbalanced people out there. Maybe it's because we don't breast feed long enough.

Breast feeding in general is very healthy, I think watching women do it with their kids is kind of weird but also being adverse to seeing it in public is also odd. It’s an interesting subject that should really be fleshed out imho.

we need reliable info not peoples opinions. anybody who ever draws outside the lines gets criticized but half the time its bs criticism based on assumptions.
