What are your thoughts on DAZN?

My thoughts on dazn. Paid for subscription to find i needed to use a VPN to actually make it work.

Waited a few hours to watch it Illegally for free instead. CAnt remember what fight it was but thats the limit of my thoughts on the product. Probably some Bellator freakshow fight

At first when they started here about 2 years ago it was the same. Price was cheap and the library was pretty empty but they increased their selection of sports. At one point they were broadcasting UFC PPV as well. After that they added premier league, rugby (not NRL),Baseball, NFL. It became like the ultimate platform for sports so I had to get it. You have Kayo sports in Australia right it’s like that here in Japan. I’m also subscribed to FightPass BTW. It’s freaking awesome.

Yeah we have Kayo here, got rid of my cable and got Kayo a year or two ago. It's pretty good, they've got some work to do, particularly with their on demand stuff, such as it doesn't remember where you were if you stop watching a doco/replay halfway through. I think they'd be in trouble if a decent competitor came in, maybe that's the DAZN end game.

Yeah mate DAZN got some deep pockets. I hope the rise in competition result in decrease in price. I wish I was swimming there in Bondi it’s friggin snowing here. Have a good one mate!! Happy Holidays!!
 
In its £1.99 so £24 a year I would pay that just for the upcoming canelo fight, plus get ggg night before and Campbell Garcia in jan.

It’s a easy buy for me

Fire the entire team that came up with the name and then fire everyone who had the ability to say no to this idiotic name and didn't. I hate it so much I wouldn't order it on general principle.

I’m in Canada and it’s worth it if you enjoy NFL, EPL and Champions’s League. If you are in it solely for combat sports, probably not. We only have boxing now and the cards are often very weak. I don’t know if things will improve going forward. Boxing and MMA are niche and may not be worth spending a lot on from their perspective.

We get NFL on free TV here in the US and no one watches soccer
 
Seems like DAZN may lose out on Bellator now, although Coker mentioned in the post fight press conference a deal may be struck.

 
In Germany i can watch UFC main cards, Bellator and big boxing fights. That's all I watch tbh.
 
Early days for it here in the UK. It's really cheap, but there's also some good boxing on it coming up with Canelo v Callum Smith, so I'll probably get it for that. Remains to be seen if they'll be a big player in the long term.

Also, I wouldn't trust Brendan Schaub's word on anything. One because he's a complete yes man, and two because I can think of countless times he just makes shit up to fit in. His defence of Wilder not fighting AJ comes to mind.
 
DAZN US is poor and has limited content. I have DAZN DE and I am happy with it. Way more content. I use a VPN to access Canadian version which has EPL + NFL.

I subscribe to DAZN and I love it. They're not doing well because they couldn't put on fights during the pandemic. Hopefully they recover.

I can't really see how its lacking that badly. They have a pretty big fight library. What does your version of DAZN have that mine doesn't?
