What are you looking forward to? (Part Two)

I used to love going to Sharks games! But moreso Baracuda. I lived next door to a couple of their players, far more fights entertainment wise. It was walking distance from where I used to live.
Very cool, I have yet to go to a Baracuda game. I used to see some of the Sharks going into the apartments at Santana Row. One of the Sharks was trying to date my friend too, I think I told that story here.

I worked on Santana Row here as the receptionist. Baracuda is hella fun (notice the Norcal lingo). Funny seeing Buddy Robinson who was my neighbour who wore a cross and was lovely and respectful, never swore etc but as soon as he was on the rink was a complete terror.

Leaving for San Diego, Anza Borrego SP, Joshua Tree and the Mojave Preserve on Friday. Then I start planting out the garden when I get home and it's kayak and camping season. The long shitty winter is finally over. Can't take too many more of these before we head out West permanently.

I have issues with my left foot and doing recovery aka not doing shit. Looking forward to building up my endurance again before I embark into more ambitious routes.

Aside from it arguably being my favourite childhood album if indeed ever, Joshua Tree is my spirit place. Spent a week in an Airstreem there during Covid just to get out of the city before moving to the desert full time.

Took a trip to DV in March last year and we had time to squeeze in 1.5 days at JT, got to see most of the main attractions but it was a little rushed. This time we'll be there for 5 days staying in an airbnb right outside the North Entrance to actually relax and take our time instead of driving all over the place the whole trip like we usually do. Really excited to check out Anza Borrego too before coming home.

Getting my car MOT done so I don't have to worry about panicking about money after booking a holiday in Japan for November...

Or going somewhere else and seeing Japan in January. Curious about buying tickets for Wrestle Kingdom...

My day worked out just how I wanted. thats something that doesn't always happen so when it does I try and really enjoy it and just revel in it.

The girl I had met at my job, I work Avis rental counter . she wanted to do lunch but I was working all day. So instead she dropped her car at my location and I took her to the airport. So not a date perse, but another get to know each other quick thing chatting which was nice. Got a nice hug and some fucking hot eye contact in the car. Shes thru my state for work often she says, next time this summer. I think odds are decent I'll see her again.

That happened right when my shift was done which was perfect timing.

After dropping her went to see this other girl about an hour away. Went to dinner, watched an episode of Black Mirror and had some good sex last night and this morning. So that went about as well as I could have hoped.

Life is good right now
