What are the chances of Brock being the latest sub-60secs KO victim?

I'm not discounting him, I'm saying he can't come back after 5 years and beat a contender as easily as people think. Not too terribly farfetched.
I think Mark Hunt is only a contender in the hearts of his fans. In his last 7 fights, he is 3-3-1, having been finished in all loses. The three people he beat are 5-15-1 combined in their last 7. I like Hunt. And he has a chance to beat Brock. But Brock hasn't been sitting around in a rocking chair. There is a chance he is better than he was when he was champ.

Hunt is a contender now? Did you watch his "fight" with stipe? Stipe beat him down and I was never close. One of the worst ass kickings in the history of the sport. You think a win over Mir puts him in line to fight stipe again?

If Hunt gets 3 in a row he's in title contention, and it's not out of the realm of possibility he wins the title considering it's HW.

He's rustier than the Titanic, has poor striking, crumbles when hit, and knows he needs to get the fight to the floor ASAP to have a chance of victory.

Hunt is a sharp, experienced striker who has serious KO power and loves throwing the uppercut.

How likely is it that Brock charges in for the TD and gets sent into early oblivion by one swift sweet Hunto uppercut from Hell?
1 in a million

I don't know how "Likely it is", but this outcome is numero uno & at the top of my wish list. :)

I'll just say that if Brock is even in his Cain fight shape then Hunt gets absolutely smashed here. If he fights like vs Overeem (who at the time might have been the most imposing force in mma history - like an upgrade from trt Vitor) then I'm not so sure. He has to be bold with his takedowns. Against Reem he only attempted one lazy single leg.

If you win 3 in a row in the HW division you're usually in title contention. He has a win against Bigfoot and a win over Mir who was top 10 at the time. What happens if Browne beats Cain, Overeem beats Stipe and Hunt beats Brock? It's not impossible.

Something tells me you have money on just that, buddeh.

:>

The odds of that happening are the same as the odds of Hunt being the latest sub-60 seconds KO victim.

I would rather eat a fresh turd than bet any amount of money on heavyweight fights

Lesnar about to get his colon cleaned courtesy of a Hunt walk off KO.

I'm hoping it is. Put quite a few bets this weekend but my biggest ones are for Hunt and under 1 1/2 rounds. Think it's the best money bet IMO this weekend. Hope I'm right

Assuming they are fighting in the big cage which will give an advantage to Hunt to have more space to back peddle and counter as Lesnar tries to get close in. If Hunt gets taken down though, peow:

<10%. It would be an incredibly poor decision to not attempt a setup for the TD defense/

That said, Brock still has the like 13" reach advantage. On top of that if Brock kicks (and you know Mark will not risk that) the reach advantage increases dramatically.

The is no reason on Earth for Mark to rush things. He will have the power to starch damn near any opponent anywhere from the start of round 1 to the end of round 5.

It is highly likely that the first 60 seconds or so in this will be a feeling out process.

I think Hunt will win but not in the first. I don't think Brock is dumb enough to initiate even one exchange with hunt. He'll shoot from distance and try to run through Hunt for a TD. Whether that results in wall and stall or a takedown I'm not sure but Brock will do whatever it takes to get this to the ground. Dude cakes his pants everything he gets hit and fighting Mark fucking Hunt. He can't be that stupid.
