Really? Are they confusing it with Call of Juarez gunslinger? Because that one was pretty great. Bound in blood was mediocre, and fucking the Cartel was some of the hottest, stinkiest garbage ever pressed on a dvd.
I swear, I always think I'm the only one who hated that game because no one ever agrees with me. I remember there was one part where you're supposed to stay close to your companion, the game prompts you to search some cabins , you go in and search them and you're companion would wander off and you'd fail the mission. There was one part where you were supposed to shoot some guys while on a wagon and I tried over and over for like an hour and a half to figure out how the hell to do it and I gave up and never played it again.
It was pretty good when it came out in 98 (especially the create a wrestler option) but was already showing its age in 2000 (when the ECW games Acclaim made after losing the WWF license used the same engine). I can't imagine how bad it plays nowadays.
i think the fact that i bought it in like, 2013/14 had something to do with it lol. i just wanted more games for my ps1 (i still play my old ass consoles . . . well, its all i play lol), so i bought a couple of wrestling games. the others were fine i felt, i know theyre older so their graphics n stuff arent the best, but theres always plenty of match choices n a big rooster to choose from. but this, did not. lol. only a couple different styles of matches, and a few characters. was so meh. i hate it. wish i had gotten a less shitty game xD ahh well
tho a friend told me when it first came out it was "the shit" so, maybe a case of not aging well.
oh yeah, forgot about the create a wrestler mode. i found even that disappointing. i can understand it being cool when it first came out, but once youve played the games that came after it that had way more options to use to build your wrestler . . . this game just looks horrible in comparison lol
