After a workout what are some good homemade remedies?
My personal favorite homemade drink is as follows:
stuff a blender 90% full with frozen spinach or kale
scoop of hemp protein
scoop of brown rice protein
scoop of pumpkin seed protein
tablespoon of orange metamucil
tablespoon of ground flax seed
scoop of greens+(or similar)
handful of cranberries
add as much water as it can handle
add a generous squirt of lemon juice
Blend it all up and enjoy.
Im no expert but Id say this is pretty damn nutrient rich. I drink it every single morning. Ill admit it doesnt taste the best, but you get used to it and the benefits outweigh the taste.
Lemonade : Water + lemons + honey - healthier and cheaper then gatorade
Chocolate milkshake : Milk (full fat) + plain cocoa powder (no sugar) + honey
or Milk + cinnamon + honey
If you add apple cider vinegar to this and drink it during/after a lot of bicycling it's epic.
Separate names with a comma.
