What are some fight predictions that you got horribly wrong?

LOL, stop it. Yan lost the fight. Anyone who doesn't like Sean personally is crying robbery, those who are unbiased call it a close fight. And that's what it was, could have gone either way. Sean did a bit more and it was the right decision IMO
 
Junior Dos Santos vs Cain 2

I thought Junior had Cain’s number. Turned out I couldn’t be more wrong.

Conor vs Diaz 1

I thought (and probably the UFC) that Cabo Nate would have been another lamb to the slaughter. Nate seemed to overmatched when the fight was announced, and I was pleasantly surprised when he survived round 1 against Conor and turned the tide with that nasty 1-2.
 
GSP vs Serra

Not the first one, the 2nd one. I thought GSP was "shook", a new phenomenon I'd just heard of, where one fighter is living inside another's head "rent free". I was wrong.

big emphasis on the IMO. stop gaslighting, the whole world knew then that yan won the fight and they still know now. it wasn't even that close. and no i'm not going to start that debate again, i remember all the threads from the first time. and the overwhelming percentage of people who saw it as a robbery.

Again, overwhelming % because there is a bias, lot of people don't like Sean. You can't trust people that have hate towards a fighter. And Yan for a while was a darling on Sherdog that everyone loved. So anyone that says it was a robbery, or wasn't close is talking out of their ass or clearly lets personal opinions cloud their judgement.

Anyone with common sense knows this was very close and could have gone either way. Its not a hard fight to score. Yan won round 2 clearly, Omalley won round 3 clearly. Round 1 Omalley got the better of the striking, Yan got a TD. Score it how you want.

Yah, IMO, but for me it was a close but clear round 1 for Sean.
 
I thought Big Nog would humiliate Mir.
I thought Franklin would cruise past Le and Belfort.
I thought Machida would easily beat Shogun.

It has to be said though that Jones looked slow and sloppy as fuck on the feet that night. This plus the fact that HWs usually only have 2-3 strong TDs in them before gassing, means that this fight could have turned in Gane's favour real quick.

i agree with that. people are riding jones' HW nuts just a little too hard right now, having seen all of ninety seconds of his HW career thus far. watch him fight sergei and get his head knocked into the fifth row.
 
Chuck vs Randy their 1st fight, I really thought Chuck was gonna win, he was on a good win streak and looked great in his previous fights, and Randy had just got beaten up by Barnett and Ricco and was old. I never saw it coming at all. I was totally wrong at the time.

that was just a bit before my time, like months before i started watching. wonder if anyone on sherdog actually had randy in that one.

And funnily enough I picked Randy in their rematch because of how the first fight went and how Randy had beaten up Tito and Belfort.. and then Chuck knocks him out in the 1st round haha :D :D :D I was always wrong in this fight.

Luckily I never put money on it. I rarely bet on MMA fights because they can be so unpredictable.

i didn't have much hope in the rubber match but i was rooting for randy damn hard. was watching the fight through my fingers cuz kinda knew what was going to happen, and it did.
