What an honor it is to watch Cruz fight.

Didn't like him when I first started rewatching MMA, but man Cruz has some very unorthodox movement. Really is amazing to watch as others have said.

Easily the most boring dull champ I have seen in the last decade. Likely will not watch his next fight.

His defense & movement should be taught in all self defense schools. lol

Dudes defense is truly awe-inspiring. Crazy good. He is a wizard.

Boy. You must not like mma. He put an absolute clinic on Faber (a HOF fighter by the way), he showed legit power tonight and was untouchable.

He is incredibly exciting to watch if you actually enjoy technical fighting.

I enjoy technical fighting, not technical dancing. I don't have the numbers but from the infographic early in the fight, Cruz was landing at about a 20% accuracy rate, which is abysmal.

Before you accuse me of being a JUST BLEED guy, I love Mighty Mouse. His fights are actually entertaining AND technical

He gets ppl to bite on every half forward lunge. Hes in control if hes constantly making you flinch.

Cruz showed some good power tonight. I think he developed that on his time off. I was impressed and who knows whats next for him.

Still has that chip on his shoulder though.

Hate to say it, but I don't see it. He's simple unorthodox, making it difficult for opponents to figure out his movements. I think a guy with elite standup and a good spawl will have his number. Here's hoping that Cody or Mayday get that shit in order.
lmao

The guy's incredible. The only ones I can see even standing a slim chance is either Dillashaw or Mighty Mouse and I can't really see either beating Cruz to be honest.

he is so skilled for sure

That was fun to watch. I wanted Faber to win tonight, but I'm a fan of both guys. Amazing to see Cruz is STILL getting better after all this time.

He looked better than he ever has. Fucking incredible. Light years ahead of the TJ fight.

I think that he used more simple patterns and slips this time than against Dillashaw. Probably because he didn't have to dodge repetitive high kicks. Also am I the only one who was worried for his leg? At times he would limp a little bit when walking flat-footed. Also appeared to limp after the fight.

This honestly might have been my favorite PPV since 189, it's just been an amazing card all night long
Yeah, that's what I hear. I just had previous obligations I couldn't get out of. You can buy PPVs after the fact, right?

Idk wished he faced real contenders.

I feel MM will beat em.
MM would get...

again.

Technical dancing? He knocked Faber down twice and applied the forward pressure the entire fight. He made a HOF fighter look like a chump in the octagon!

It's one thing to get a knockout against a great fighter, it's another to just absolutely dominate him and make him look like he doesn't even belong in the same building.

Great fighter, very smart and skilled but i don't really enjoy watching his fights. I respect his skills.
