What actor played a villain so well that you low-key don’t like the actor as a result of his or her performance?

I got one for the ages: The actor that played Joffrey from Game of Thrones. He did such a great job because I loathe this son of a bitch. It also doesn’t help that he looks like a douche.

Honorable mentions go out to Joaquin Phoenix in Gladiator and Orlando Bloom in Troy.

She's done it twice, now. Two of the most contemptible villains in fictional history.

But I don't dislike the actress at all, their performances on film breed no contempt in me, I understand it's just a performance. Interestingly, it doesn't go the other way. Not always, but when actors play characters I really love and admire I know it plays a role in me liking them more than I am already inclined to like them due to their Hollywood-level charisma. It gets you on a subconscious level. Can't detach. Funny how that works.

I'm going to throw out Ice Cube from The Players Club. He was an asshole in that movie and was part of the reason the stripper cousin in that movie got sexually assaulted (not sure if you can use the r word here).

Also, Santino D'Antonio from John Wick 2 (the best of the Wick films imo). He was the main villain and was such an ass that Wick had to kill him in the Contenential Hotel which was against the rules for killers.
