What actor played a villain so well that you low-key don’t like the actor as a result of his or her performance?

Louise Fletcher as Kai Wynn on star trek Deep space nine

it takes a special kind of annoying actress to get me to hate you that much.

In the series Finale, she makes one last attempt at turning back to the good side(only because she got outsmarted), and Dukat steals the moment from her and incinerates her on the spot. EVERYONE, despite wanting to see Dukat lose, fucking cheered him for incinerating her lol

Kai Wynn was so good at being a self serving passive aggressive bitch that you wanted to cave her fucking face in every episode

Stanley Tucci as the creepy ass :eek::eek::eek: in The Lovely Bones. That movie was disturbing AF and despite being nominated for an Oscar for it, Tucci said he regretted doing the role, tried to get out of it during filming and found it deeply upsetting to research and play the character.

She's done it twice, now. Two of the most contemptible villains in fictional history.

But I don't dislike the actress at all, their performances on film breed no contempt in me, I understand it's just a performance. Interestingly, it doesn't go the other way. Not always, but when actors play characters I really love and admire I know it plays a role in me liking them more than I am already inclined to like them due to their Hollywood-level charisma. It gets you on a subconscious level. Can't detach. Funny how that works.

Ben Mendelson in Bloodline TV series. I despised his character and couldnt look past it whenever I saw him again.

I think his brother (Kevin) has him beat for his role as Bunny in Platoon.
I actually like the Bunny character except when he bashed that kids skull in, other than that he was just being a soldier.

I'm going to throw out Ice Cube from The Players Club. He was an asshole in that movie and was part of the reason the stripper cousin in that movie got sexually assaulted (not sure if you can use the r word here).

Also, Santino D'Antonio from John Wick 2 (the best of the Wick films imo). He was the main villain and was such an ass that Wick had to kill him in the Contenential Hotel which was against the rules for killers.
