It seems very addictive, they got that algorithm down to a T, and from what I recall, caters to married white men

The instagram reels algorithm is crazy too. Almost all the accounts I follow are comic artists, science and history accounts, etc, but almost all the content in my “suggested reels” are like sexy women dancing, fitness models, cooking in panties with their ass hanging out, etc. I really don’t know what started them showing in my feed, but now that I have watched some, it is the only content that is suggested. I don’t use TikTok, but a lot of the reels are from TikTok, seems addictive. I can only imagine if the reels I saw were actual pornographic.

i follow mostly comics, 2 unbiased news sources, a couple science (space related) accounts and some fitness influencers. yet my 'suggested' is basically all half nude women or ai generated women and the other half is reels of people being killed.

I mean it should remain an enormous risk/gamble.

Thankfully I don’t get the gore content, though I have seen others complain about it. Kind of surprising since I do follow a few street fight and instant karma accounts where people do get fucked up.

Out of the around 250 accounts I follow, only like 5 are fitness or model accounts. I guess it picked up that I cannot resist seeing a girl with a big ass squat or shake their ass. We live in a society where Only fans are slowly becoming the norm like social media, it’s acceptable to talk about it in mainstream and parents are perfectly fine having their 18 years olds sign up for it and brag about how much they’ve earned online.

Not sure many parents would brag about their 18 year old daughter being on onlyfans.

There is much not to like about it; however, porn has been around for a long time and generally it seemed like the women were exploited. With onlyfans the creators maintain and develop their own revenue stream. I appreciate that this platform has empowered the performer to keep the lion's share of the revenue. Seems like a much better system than before.
