I don't have enough self esteem to think anything I do is cool, but re: baseball cards, I bought 3x hangers, 4x blasters, 6x retail packs, 1x super box (10 packs) of 2024 Topps Update Baseball and did NOT get a base Wyatt Langford RC, but did get an insert '89 design Wyatt Langford RC. Probably done buying '24 Topps Update. Did get maybe 4x Paul Skenes RC, 4x Jackson Holliday RC, 1 regular and 1 colored parallel Jackson Chourio RC. No autos or jersey patch cards.
Bought 2x blasters of '24 Allen Ginter for TTM fuel and mostly junk except for mini SP Wyatt Langford RC. I like the cardstock, but the '24 design uses more color in the backgrounds. The '22 design was nice for autographs.
Saw a rare opportunity to buy single pack of '24 Stadium Club, but when I rung it up it was $8 and should have aborted. The 15 card pack was pure garbage. It was like the Orioles and Dodgers pack and no RC's, no autos, nothing worthwhile. I suspect it was available loose since it may have been leftovers after the seller rep ripped packs until finding the hits.
This year, I discovered the Super boxes come with one oversized maybe 5 3/4" x 8" sized card and one "companion" card maybe not in the regular set. First Super box I bought was from random visit to Costco, and supply wiped out fast. Tried to use my ki to get a good card as the oversized card and ended up with Elly De La Cruz RC and regular sized companion card Shohei Ohtani. The '24 Topps Update Super box had what I wanted: Wyatt Langford RC oversized, but corner dinged. They fit inside BCW 6" x 9" sleeves and then into the Ultra Pro 8" x 10" magnetic One Touch which has a hole to hang it and it's supposed to have some UV protection. Didn't use my ki to pick that Super box as it was the first box on top of a short stack of two boxes. So now I have a thing for these oversized cards and have a grand total of two. As a kid, the closest thing was school supply folders of '89 Topps that printed the baseball card front and back on the folders front and back.
