Leon was highly inactive before he was ever champ and Colby is the same. Annoying.

Stfu and fight someone, both of you. My respect is to guys who fight often instead of whining and posturing from the sidelines.

False equivalency. Leon was on a 10-fight unbeaten streak before getting his title shot. That streak started in 2016, and he fought multiple times every year from 2016 to 2019. Then covid hit and derailed him in 2020. He then fought multiple times in 2021 before getting his title shot in 2022. And he only started getting "picky" with the fights he would accept once it became clear that the UFC was actively trying to keep him away from the title. This whole "Leon was inactive" narrative was always just nonsense invented by haters.

Colby, on the other hand, fought only once per year in 4 out of the last 5 years. And he hasn't been on a multiple-fight win streak since 2019.

Leon's manager was on Helwani today, said Colby is next in OCT or NOV. Abu Dhabi seems most likely if Jones headlines MSG. If not then Leon/Colby could main MSG.

Wildcard is if Izzy doesn't have a healthy or willing opponent for Australia(Rob breaks his hand KO-ing DDP) then I wouldn't be surprised if Leon/Colby headlines 293.

Leon said he wasnt gonna fight till Oct and wanted to fight in Abu Dhabi. So it will either be Oct/Nov most likely.

If Abu Dhabi has two title fights, possibly they go with Jiri/Hill or something then Leon/Colby as a MSG fight would work. That would be a good co main under Jones title fight.

It’s sad how accurate this is. Colby is a waste of space in the WW Top 5. He has 0 wins over current top 15 WW’s and the last time he fought was against a pre-retirement Masvidal almost 2 years ago and didn’t even look that great.
