Im a citydweller from GTA/Ontario and the first real mountains I saw up close was when I drove through highway 1 and passed Cochrane. The mountains "rose up" and it was then I understood how "loud" silence can be while experiencing the simultaneous feelings of profound insignificance and boundless inspiration in the face of something old, indifferent and immense.

Just don't do shrooms the night before because Yetis can smell it through your fever-sweat...for some reason the scent makes them weird and they get on some claustrophobic "hug 'em and squeeze 'em and love 'em and call 'em George" type shit with you if get caught lacking taking a roadside break with a weedpen

I suggest touring the Gulf Islands....its a region of Canada that came into being after Narnia had sex with the Shire. Cortez and Quadra Island in particular are good for getting rides from the locals. Being black is a bonus because we're a rarity in those parts and can trade any unused race cards for bannock, weed and uncombed hippie vag.

I love art, booze, edibles, architecture, so Amsterdam is on my list. I backpacked through Europe as a college kid, and never made it. I don't regret that because we met a group on the Eurorail when we were supposed to go and went with them instead to Germany in the Black Forrest area and stayed in an old, haunted inn. Anyone that knows me, knows that is my jam. I met a girl that looked like Diane Kruger and had the best 48 hours of my life.

I have been writing some. I would love to publish a scary novel. Not overly violent, but very spooky in vibe. I also have experienced some really funny and crazy stuff going to school and partying/working in NYC. That stuff might make for a better screenplay.
