yeah i use a slight variation of this technique in greco, it's a good technique but i would consider a low risk low reward technique

i sometimes use it to pull the arm in then hook my leg over the arm when taking the back mount!!

Kurt Osiander showed it a while back as his move of the week. He didn't use it for a submission, but rather for a back take.

EDIT: Also, now that I think about it, my instructor taught us the move for a back take a while back too. If I remember correctly, it works really well to get people out of turtle and get your hooks in.
