Were you aware George Foreman has a son who fights?

Georgey has what 20 boys? One of ems bound to be a boxer. I'm surprised only one though...

Something tells me that a foreman that grew up rich and privileged isn't going to be quite the same monster that his dad was who grew up in the projects. Just a guess.

He's opening a gym in Boston, so I'm sure he's shifted his focus in that direction.

His gym is going to be extremely high scale and it will focus exclusively on non-competitive boxing. I look forward to buying some nice gear on the cheap when he's out of business within 18 months.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, boxing is different than other professional sports because just about anyone can be a professional. Maybe Monk is doing this because it's something that he felt he needed to do in his life after growing up with his old man doing what he did. And hell good for him. He may never win a belt or make big money, but he can say he was a fighter.

I think it's refreshing to see some fighters these days, like Monk, Golovkin, Martinez (if he spoke English) Barker, Geale, Jacobs, that are well spoken and professional. Not trying to pull the whole hard ass thug thing. There is already a lot of that in boxing and it is nice to have a mix of both.

He has fights against some fat guys on YouTube, but honestly the opposition was so poor that it is not even worth the effort to copy a clip from there and paste it here.

It's an interesting business model though.

Not saying that Foreman's son is doing this, It'd be an interesting business model to take a celebrity, train them to box and then sell tickets against poor opposition a few times per year.

They already tried something like that. It lasted one figt. Awful stuff. Disrespectful to the sport.

Please take a look at the double end bag video he posted: https://www.facebook.com/Everybodyfights?ref=stream&hc_location=stream

George III's hands are on par with a top 30 tough man participant. I have my doubts that The Club will tread water for more than a year with the amount of cash they appear to have sunk into it.

off topic sorta, but I hate seeing people work the double end bag like that, might as well just go hit the speed bag...

I see he fought at the cocopah casino in yuma, used to frequent that place quite a bit between 06-10, lol

Curiously enough, I have had several bosses on construction sites all with the same name of "foreman".

RawHawg, you one jive ass turkey comin roun these parts squawkin that spice.
